A "How To" Guide for the WCT Reader

How Do I Troubleshoot Installation of the Search Engine?

Internet Explorer: What if downloading appears to give me an older version of the WCT Reader?
When you install, does the same version that you installed last time appear? You need to clean the cache on your browser. During browsing on the Internet, cache may accumulate thousands of files, which could include earlier downloads from WordsCloseTogether.com. Here is how cache is cleaned for two popular Internet browsers.

Internet Explorer Screen 1: Within the Tools menu, select Internet Options.

Internet Explorer Screen 2: Under the heading Browsing History, click on Delete in the middle of the Internet Options dialog.
Internet Explorer Screen 3: Click on Delete files ... at the top of the Delete Browsing History dialog.
Respond Yes to the confirmation message. If an hour glass is presented, wait until it disappears. Click on Close, then on Okay. You are finished.

Mozilla Firefox: What if downloading appears to give me an older version of the WCT Reader?

Mozilla Firefox Screen 1: Within the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data.

Mozilla Firefox Screen 2: Within the Clear Private Data dialog, check at least the Cache box then click on Clear Private Date Now.
There is no waiting time. You are finished.

Other browsers are likely to offer variations of one of the above methods.
